skyliner Austria covers the three main stages at the POHODA Festival in Trencin (Slovakia)

"Pohoda" translates as much as "well-being, cosiness" - The eponymous Pohoda Festival on the airport grounds in Trencin, Slovakia, lives up to its name and once again attracted thousands of music and festival enthusiasts with its informal, friendly open-air atmosphere on five warm July days in the Corona summer of 2021.

The numerous restrictions during the pandemic meant the end for many open air events this year - but with a limit of 1,000 visitors daily, a smaller edition of the popular Pohoda could be realised, the most important festival in Slovakia. The organisers rely on a diverse, balanced mix of international musical acts, theatre performances and cabaret - well-known stars like The Prodigy , Garbage, and last year's British indie rock newcomers Wolf Alice were already part of the line-up, but Pohoda also gives a stage to local and as yet unknown artists.

The weather also played along: Five days of sunshine. This year, three circular event covers from skyliner Austria provided shade on a huge area. Two skyliners with a diameter of 22 metres (sl22) and one with a diameter of 32 metres (sl32) covered the three main stages of the festival. The free-floating constructions also served as weather protection and platforms for lighting and sound equipment. The installation was completed in only one and a half days with a crew of helpers on site - despite the language barrier, the construction went smoothly and without any incident.
